Back to Basics

Life moves us onward, continually…on a cyclical, spiraling, telescopic trajectory, leading us all toward our Source, and calling us home to the One. Our individual experiences cycle as well, and as we grow, it becomes more and more apparent that the seasons and movements of the sun, moon, and stars are inextricably tied to the sequencing of ages and genealogies.

We’re connected in ways we can’t even comprehend, from the shared history that unites us in our humanity, to the spark of life within all that connects us to divinity. We are “fearfully and wonderfully made,” as the psalmist says, and thus our response should be as Christ commands us to…

“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” –Matthew 22

The Holy Bible and Torah of the ancient Israelites tell the history of the tribe of Judah, the line of Kings David and Solomon, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob…and ultimately the Messiah, Jesus Christ. This collection of sacred texts also describes, outlines, and gives prophecies that map out Yahovah’s plan for creation, Alpha to Omega.

The central teaching and message of the one whom many know as Jesus the Christ is that of love and service to others and loving devotion to God, our Creator. Though we live in a broken world, amidst a sociopathic society, in which we must subsist…and we exist within a system that makes us dependent on the enslavement and destruction of all that is sacred, including our own bodily temples.

“19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20 For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body.” –1 Corinthians 6

We’re made to believe in a vast array of lies and deceptions, beginning with an often fearful and traumatic beginning, which is greatly accentuated by an upbringing steeped in exposure to various mental, social, and environmental toxins. From vaccines and chemical laden food and drink, to massive indoctrination on every level, we are politically, religiously, and educationally diverted and distracted from seeking Truth and living by faith.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
Proverbs 3:5

Our propaganda-filled media and medical-military industrial complex, the toxic corporate agro-business food system, kleptocratic governmental bodies and war machines, all these powers and principalities…they are corrosive and corruptive, they breed death, disease, and destruction. And the nature of their influence upon living beings has continuously and relentlessly sought to destroy Truth by desecrating, mimicking, and mocking our Creator.

Beware of the Russian bots!

“For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed. Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke. Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother.” –Isaiah 9:16

But the order of this world will not last forever, and we can still yet receive mercy…though we’re all wrong…not just you. I need His mercy. Like we all do. (that last line is a lyric…you can click the link or play the song below if you’d like to hear it)

24 When the ten heard it, they were angry with the two brothers. 25 But Jesus called them to him and said, ‘You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones are tyrants over them. 26 It will not be so among you; but whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wishes to be first among you must be your slave; 28 just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.’” –Matthew 20:24-28

16 So the last will be first, and the first will be last.” -Matthew 20:16

Therefore, we have a choice to make…no one can serve two masters.

“For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know only in part; then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known.”
1 Corinthians 13:12

Be a radical for Truth and an extremist for Love…

“Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? But for this purpose I have come to this hour. Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven: “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.” The crowd that stood there and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to him.” Jesus answered, “This voice has come for your sake, not mine. Now is the judgment of this world; now will the ruler of this world be cast out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” He said this to show by what kind of death he was going to die. So the crowd answered him, “We have heard from the Law that the Christ remains forever. How can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?” So Jesus said to them, “The light is among you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” –John 12:27-36

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts.
As we forgive all those who are indebted to us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory
forever and ever…Amen!
