Though the cold gray rain will not last forever, its hold can remain in our hearts, a heavy burden to bear…with unforgiveness we share in this malice against our very humanity. O vanity of vanities! Lord free us from the insanity of this corrupted state. Break the spell of false spirituality and let us live for that beloved reality which we were made for.

we must change the culture
of commodification
that enslaves the mind
with obsessions given
toward perfectionism and
all those isms that
cause schisms between
heart, soul, and head and
the body, everything we dream
shall be thus, our
thoughts need to be fixed
on love for one another
we are all neighbors
we share, we coinhabit
we rely upon sunshine,
our living earth
sustenance, growth
birth and rebirth
we are born again
and again our conversion
conversational, honestly
earnestly, we do know
there is no one
particular figurehead
to fight against,
it is an entire global
system of oppression and violence
that we must resist,
dismantle and persist
against, at all costs,
or we shall risk our
very souls and the heart
of the meaningfulness of
being human, living with
dignity, free to be
in love with All being
all my sons and daughters
you are sisters & brothers,
beautiful creatures,
light bearers, sing songs of love
please teach me to behave
more or less like children
alive in rapt awe
amidst great discovery
wonderment and charm
within our elemental
mystical inheritance
we heal the whole world
as we allow ourselves to
be healed through this
collapsing into awakening
inner mind, that
one Truth our mystics
and shamans, sages
and saviors, teachers
and preachers, friends
sisters, brothers of
love and peace embody
please be
one we are
we shall remain
same as our red clay
hearts and minds
beating, seeking
whole mind
one union
home to Eden
our plentiful garden

What we do to ourselves
we do to others as well
There is no thought,
no action, no intention
that does not have an effect
on every other person on
this planet. Of course
our actions affect those
closest to us the most
especially our children,
whose lives are influenced
so much more. Our examples
that we model will show
them the way but only
they can choose to live
and learn and behave
honorably, respectably,
and in accordance
with the Way of Truth
Feel the fire that
burns within us all
yearning for freedom now
we are learning
feeding and flowing
healing and growing
ever turning
into and through
knowing His love

no matter how closely we attempt to scrutinize ourselves, our motives and intentions, we can never be completely sure that we are doing God’s will. at best we do what we feel is right or what we feel “lead” to do. often these actions are clouded by our own desires and our wanting to know that we are “doing the right thing”. however, God is relational…His will is not some construct or formula to be figured out. He desires our complete attention and requires us to sacrifice every living moment to Him. this requires much discipline on our part because one instant of wrong-thinking can lead to years of agony and self-abuse. we continue to beat ourselves up over habits and addictions that we fall prey to on a daily basis. but rarely do we just sit, (in that moment of temptation) be still, and know that He is God. this is why it is so very important that we pray without ceasing. if we are at least attempting to keep in constant communication with the Lord, His will manifests itself, many times without our realization of it. Lord, help us say more and more each day, Thy will not my own. Amen
